Formed in 2007, O&H
is a privately owned Civil Engineering Company in the UK,
and enjoys an excellent reputation with its clients, partners and
supply chain. With a high regard for customer care and support we
have repeatedly proven our ability to complete projects on time,
within cost, and to a high standard.
As a local contractor with more than 20 years experience we have
successfully integrated with local communities and businesses. We
employ local people who have a commitment to our business and to the
communities it serves.
Our track record demonstrates how this integration and commitment
assists us to deliver projects which enhance the reputation of all
parties involved, provide best value to the client and local
community, and are financially profitable for O & H Contractors.
Delivering the best by appointing the right people
Our project management teams have the qualifications, experience,
local knowledge, commitment and ethos to successfully deliver
projects on time and on cost. They understand the need, and have a
proven track record, for providing safe continuous access,
environmental sustainability, and liaison with the client, general
public and associated stakeholders. We ensure that good
communication and relationships between ourselves, the client and
the general public are maintained at all times.
Providing resources to deliver projects on time, on cost and
with fewer issues for the client
One of our unique strengths is our policy to carry out as much work
as possible using our own trained and tested resources which
includes over 1000 items of plant and 100 trained and experienced
staff and operatives. We have found that using our own resources
gives us greater control of the works, not only with regard to
programme, but also with regard to quality, cost and client
satisfaction. It also allows us to respond to changing situations
and emergencies, be proactive rather than reactive in the
development of a project, and be totally project focused enabling
all the issues to be addressed.
Delivering quality and best value specialist works through
an integrated and managed supply chain
We have developed a comprehensive and respected supply chain built
up through many years of trading relationships. Our close working
relationships and alliances with suppliers and subcontractors
enables us to offer value, technical support and innovative
solutions.
Through these established long-term strategic relationships and
formal agreements, key supply chain partners have committed to
giving us a priority service and provide early involvement in the
development of projects. Backed by a track record of service
delivery they guarantee the quality of materials, ensuring they are fit for purpose. They also guarantee that items will be available
when and where required, holding stock of regular items and offering
“just in time” delivery to reduce on-site damage and storage area
requirements. When selecting supply chain partners we take into
account their approach and attitude to regional sustainability, and
the demonstrable implementation of their CSR, Diversity and Equality
policies.
